According to Baby Center, a baby learns to talk during the first two years of his/her life. It starts with the simple “oohhh” and “ahhh” and starts to babble by three months. By six months, a baby can say “mama” or “dada,” although not necessarily referring to you (admit it, it brought tears to yours eyes).
