Use Cloth Diapers. Save the Environment. | The Momma Chronicles

When I was pregnant with my first child, I seldom use cloth diapers. In fact, I even find it messy and inconvenient. As a result, disposable diapers ate up a big chunk on our weekly grocery. I didn’t even know how to budget yet and just bought the diaper brand recommended by my relatives without checking the price.

But when I had my second one, I am much wiser. I decided to use cloth diapers from Chino Pino so diaper consumption is only limited to one pack (24 pieces).

It was still inconvenient in a way because every time my baby pees, her crib is all wet. And her sleep will get disrupted since I have to change her diaper immediately. Until I saw these cute diapers from our neighbor. It is a cross between a cloth diaper and a disposable one since the diaper itself is waterproof (so I don’t have to worry about leaks) and washable. My neighbor said she seldom use disposable diapers so it’s more economical.

I decided to give it a try and contacted the store where she bought the cloth diapers. The store is called Baby Chic Boutique and it carries different cloth diaper brands. There were so many cute designs to choose from but I decided to get five first and give it a try.

The cloth diaper is made of waterproof material either Polyurethane laminate or Thermoplastic Urethane to prevent leaks in case the baby pees. It also comes with a stay dry microfiber insert for better absorbency.

I have been using the cloth diapers and all I can say is I’m glad I bought it. I only use disposable diaper at night which reduces the consumption. So to all the mommies out there, I recommend that you use cloth diapers too. It comes in different cute designs and at the same time, it saves you a significant amount of cash since diaper consumption will be reduced. More importantly, it helps save the environment too.
